Ipsun Solar is seeking a dynamic and strategic Marketing Director to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the marketing landscape, with a strong emphasis on digital marketing, and possess a proven track record of driving successful marketing initiatives.
As the Marketing Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies, with a particular focus on leveraging digital channels to increase brand visibility, generate leads, and drive customer acquisition. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and executive leadership, to align marketing efforts with overall business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements strategic marketing plans that align with the company's goals and target audience, with a particular emphasis on leveraging digital channels for maximum impact.
- Oversees all aspects of brand management and positioning, ensuring consistent and compelling messaging across various digital channels aka omnichannel
- Leads the creation of integrated marketing campaigns and initiatives that leverage digital marketing channels, such as SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, content marketing, and paid advertising, to generate leads and drive customer acquisition.
- Analyses and utilizes market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends in the digital marketing landscape.
- Collaborates with product teams to ensure effective product positioning and messaging in the digital space.
- Manages and optimizes digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, content marketing, and paid advertising, to drive targeted traffic, engagement, and conversions.
- Monitors and analyzes digital marketing metrics to evaluate campaign performance and make data-driven recommendations for improvement. Decisions are based on ROI
- Stays up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends, technologies, and best practices, and champion their integration into marketing strategies.
- Works closely with the sales team to support lead generation efforts through digital marketing initiatives and ensure effective sales enablement.
- Manages relationships with external digital marketing agencies, vendors, and partners.
- Collaborates with the marketing team and consultants to develop compelling content for digital marketing campaigns, including website copy, blog articles, social media posts, and email newsletters.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field
- 8 years of experience in marketing, with a strong focus on digital marketing, demand generation, customer acquisition, and brand management.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
- Deep understanding of digital marketing channels and tactics, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, content marketing, and paid advertising.
- Proficiency in using digital marketing tools and platforms, such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, social media management tools, marketing automation platforms, and CRM systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling messaging and presentations for digital channels.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in analyzing digital marketing data and deriving actionable insights.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the latest digital marketing trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Experience in small business is a plus
- Experience in the construction or solar industry is plus
